완벽하고 우아하고 자신감 넘치는 정국의 도입이었다. 정국의 박자감각이란 !!
정국의 'Dynamite' 오프닝은 생각보다 훨씬 어려운 파트다. 박자를 잡아줄 리듬이 거의 없는 상태에서 첫 음을 정확한 타이밍에 던져야 하기 때문임. 조금만 빨라도 급해 보이고, 조금만 늦어도 전체 그루브가 무너질 수 있다.
특히 월드컵 하프타임쇼처럼 초대형 라이브 무대에서는 현장 음향 딜레이 때문에 인이어 모니터에만 의존해야 해 난도가 더 높다. 그럼에도 정국은 망설임 없이 정확한 박자 한가운데 첫 음을 꽂았고, 템포를 따라간 것이 아니라 오히려 리드하는 듯한 안정감과 자신감을 보여줬다.
그래서 글로벌 시티즌 CEO 휴 에반스와 미디어 스태프들이 그 순간 환호한 것은 단순히 노래를 잘해서 뿐 아니라, 프로들이 봐도 가장 어려운 오프닝을 완벽하게 소화했기 때문이라고 볼 수 있다. 정국이 도입부 장인이라는 말이 그냥 나오게 아니라고.
