So I just had a super random encounter while stuck in traffic. The weather in Sydney was beautiful today—sun’s out, 19°C—so I had the windows down and was soaking in the fresh air.

As always, BTS was playing. I tend to listen to my music pretty loud, and honestly, my car subs are amazing, so I love cranking it up 😂😂😂

Anyway, I’d been crawling through traffic next to another car for a bit—we kept leapfrogging each other in our lanes. They had their music up too, sounded like hip-hop, but I couldn’t tell who it was.

Then Cypher Pt. 4 came on, and that bass kicked in 🔥 Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the guy in the other car trying to get my attention. I looked over and he goes, “Hey! Who’s that you’re listening to?”

I said, “It’s a band called BTS 😊”

He stared for a sec and went,
“Those Dynamite guys sound like this??? 👀👀👀”

I laughed and said, “Yeah, they’ve been around for like 12 years now. They actually started out mostly doing hip-hop. You should check them out on YouTube.”

Traffic moved a bit and so did we. When we ended up side by side again, he asked, “So what’s this song called? This sounds sick!”

I called out, “It’s called Cypher Part 4.”

He smiled, “Oh cool! I’ll look that up. Thanks, mate!”

And I yelled back, “Enjoy!”

Anyway, just a super random but cool little moment—on ARMY Day too 💜😊💜 It made me smile.

And it reminded me of what Yoongi once said:

“You’ll like BTS music if you listen without prejudice.”
