Might be 'false spring' in #btv, but still a window to do road work. We keep 40 tons of asphalt on hand during winter before asphalt plants open to patch potholes & fix roads. Tomorrow, we'll be on Briggs, south Battery & Sears Ln. Parking will be temporarily disallowed.

Thank you to the Vermonters in the 70+ age-band, and those helping them sign up. In less than 3 hours, we've already scheduled more than 10,000 people in this phase, nearly one-third of the entire group population. Keep it up!
Vermonters 70 and older are now eligible to be vaccinated. We expect to move through this phase quickly and will then open to 65+ and then those with certain health conditions that put them at greater risk if they get COVID-19. Protecting the vulnerable must be our top priority.

The City of Burlington’s testing of wastewater has detected the presence of two COVID-19 virus mutations that are associated w/ the B.1.1.7 variant. Detection of these 2 mutations is a strong indicator that the B.1.1.7 variant is present in the community. https://t.co/9kQVno9NHA
As we have anticipated would happen, the City has detected mutations associated with the Covid-19 variant that first originated in the U.K. This information serves as an alert for Burlingtonians to exercise extra caution. Learn more: https://t.co/SWhtK2NPVJ
While the city has no direct role distributing the vaccines, here is a @BloombergCities post on what #BTV is doing to make this critical effort as equitable as possible
