Celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth with Mariah Turner, a Ph.D. student from the @BTaylorLab. Her research on tendinopathy is paving the way for more effective pain relief strategies. Let's honor her dedication and contributions to healthcare! @MariahTurner_
Hey #SFB2023 friends - Check out some of Taylor Lab’s cool research findings featured at the meeting! @kari_shama’s poster (P1083) will be up during poster session 1 today (4/19) & @SebKharilehBME is presenting his poster (P2063) tomorrow (4/20) during poster session 2.
Taylor Lab members represented today at the @UFWertheim#SFB Day! Congrats to @kari_shama, @HBroadaway_UF, @SebKharilehBME for presenting their impressive tendon biomaterials work. Making the lab proud ☺️!
We are super proud of @HBroadaway_UF for receiving the #NSFGRFP award!! The 1st one for the Taylor Lab! Congrats, Harrison! Thrilled to witness your growth as a scientist and the impact you will make in the MSK world!
I am beyond excited to announce I was selected to receive an NSF #GRFP! I am extremely thankful for @BLT_BME and my department, @UFBME, for being supportive of me as a researcher! It has been an amazing first year of PhD studies, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
There must be something in the water @UFBME because #BlackExcellence is abundant. A prime example is 1st year Ph.D. student @MariahTurner_ of the @BTaylorLab. From the Windy City to @PrairieStateCol➡️@ASUHornetNation, this 1st Generation college student has not missed a beat!
I’m ecstatic about being a BMES Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Engineering co-track chair with @mhhettiaratchi! Abstracts open next week— let’s get them in! Also, contact us with any questions or ideas for our sessions. #BMES2024#orthoresearch
@kari_shama rocked her poster presentation at #ORS2021!! We’re super excited about this collab project w/ the @StoppelLab which focuses on recapitulating the structure and function of the musculotendinous junction. We look forward to sharing more soon!

Left #ORS2023 energized & inspired! It’s always great catching up w/ my ortho friends & mentors. The best parts: 1) sharing this experience w/ 2 of my grad students for the 1st time, 2) meeting new ppl (put myself out there!), & 3) seeing the newest hottest tendon research!
