@BEisenhart I think many boomers also failed to teach their kids it took 20 years to get to the lifestyle their kid enjoyed when they went off to college. Can't expect to start there on day 1 out on your own. That on top of everything you said.

Easily the biggest part of my budget (not many think of it this way bc it's pulled each paycheck). I can house/feed a family of four cheaper than what I pay in Income Tax. Doesn't even include sales tax...

@quachelsey What have you found to be good bulk pantry items from Azure? I'm trying for the first time this month and got different flours and rolled oats. We go through a lot of that and their quality standard seems to be beyond box store organic, and also cheaper.

@ckleene @agtradertalk What's funny is I think he made very rational decisions for ISU ath. It's clear they went all-in with Otz and men's bball, which likley left the women high and dry for money. The players all left. It's the right biz decision given women's bball loses money.

@ckleene @agtradertalk I keep thinking the market will sort itself out, but there is irrational love for your alma mater and team. People will spend money that makes no sense. Pay a PG > he is worth in the NBA (if he could even make it). Market can stay irrational longer than most can stay solvent

@ckleene @agtradertalk Wouldn't disagree. The NCAA has always acted that way. Admin seems to think they get to make business decisions but not allow players to. And that's what it is. Pollard would tell someone at WSU it's not personal, it's business, and that's what a player should say to him.

@ckleene @agtradertalk In this instance, I think both can be right. He's spot on that they shouldn't be given those long-time honors like others. Players will give up that 'forever home' to come back to. But if the money is life changing, the player probably right to take it.

@CroakerGameDev @dieworkwear I've been looking at Orient and like the Bambino. Really know nothing about watches are what to look for. Wear an Ironman Timex everyday and want something a bit nicer for formal/business occasions.
