Capital costs to start. It costs at minimum $50 million to start a small scale packing facility. Then the USDA requirements to open; they limit the number by virtue of the onerous regulations to start. Myself and @markgoodw_in and a few others tried to warn people in January 2024 that a lot of the policies hated by covid-era "dissidents" were being re-packaged and resold by the "right" instead of the "left" to minimize resistance to them and make them more palatable.

Now, following the passage of the GENIUS act, the push for digital ID returns. The excuse has now shifted from the vaccine/vaccine passports, to paving the way for dollar stablecoins. Where is the "resistance" on this now? Too many of them will continue to call me "blackpilled" for not clapping like a seal while Trump's administration pushes surveillance, programmable money and digital IDs –– stuff they were ostensibly against before the last election.
