AFIEGO supported a practical knowledge exchange between the women beekeepers🐝 from Kyakaboga and EACOP-affected persons from Greater Masaka.

Participants shared beekeeping skills & empowered each other to diversify their incomes while promoting environmental conservation. 🌳

They started with no training in fish rearing or vegetable growing & lack irrigation tools & land to expand the pond. Fish theft shrank their membership but they're pushing forward. They need training &support to grow.

This builds on our earlier engagement during the Bill's development, where we gathered citizens' views and submitted recommendations to Parliament.
