🎀Come hear some love poems on Wednesday night!🎀
Come celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early with us on February 11th at 7PM in STH625 — Dan Grover (Poetry ‘14), Annaka Saari (Poetry ‘21), Mary Elliot (Poetry ‘26), and Sanjana Thakur (Poetry ‘26) will read.
🕵️Friday was imitation workshop day — and baby picture guessing day — for our poetry students!🕵️
Students are provided with anonymous poems written by peers (in which authors may imitate the styles of others in the class) and anonymous baby pictures— then guess who is who!
🪴Our administrator is at MacDowell for a couple of weeks, so we’re taking a little break!🪴
We’ll be back to posting on the 22nd — this account won’t be monitored while she’s away.
🦉Our last Black Box reading of 2025 was a hoot!🦉
Thank you to Eric Parkison (Poetry ‘16), Matthew Porto (Poetry ‘16), Gracie Barnett (Poetry ‘26), and Lachy Bowden (Fiction ‘26) for reading!
We’ll see you all at our next event in 2026!
📸The first event of the Bay State Road Reading Series is in the books — a wonderful reading by Meg Tyler and William Logan!📸
Thanks are due to the BU Center for the Humanities, the BU Office for the Arts, and the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center for their support.
