We had the amazing @Sharenaleesatti come in to talk to our Year 8s about National Poetry Week, what poetry is and who can be a poet. Everyone created the most beautiful poetry about themselves and their own identities! Some even shared their poems with their whole year group!

Mrs Evans Year 7 have produced some fabulous set designs for Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', focusing on showing how Athens is very controlled, but the forest is where passions and chaos rule! #ConfidentLearners #BVGAExcellence

Many of our Y7 students studied and wrote a letter responding to the cutting down of the Sycamore Gap tree in September last year. There is now an update about how conservation (one of our key words!) techniques are being used to bring the tree back! https://t.co/N8q1erdCEJ
