He blinks his eyes open, briefly tensing when he senses another presence. When he sees that it’s Jill, his expression softens, offering her some of the blanket too.
“Rough day for you too, huh?”
He chuckles, looking down at the half-eaten egg. “It’s alright. It’s the thought that counts.”
Huffing at Chris’ next comment, he gives his shoulder a light shove. “It’s not just chocolate, though. These are special, right?”

a small snicker .
‘ yeh — well, would have been a whole egg only I got peckish the other night . .’
he bites back a laugh .
‘ you're cute , getting excited for a bit of chocolate . ’

Eyes widen, and he begins to search his office. There’s a strange thrill in the ‘hunt’ – opening the drawer to find the egg. He has to bite the inside of his cheek to hide a smile, picking it up to inspect.
“You shouldn’t have.”
“It’s part of the job.” He takes a few slow strides towards the window, to block any sudden escape attempts.
“Now, are you going to tell me who you’re working for this time?”
