Week 2 learning included a field biology insect search, pre-lift training in weights, vision board planning in PASS & real-world connections in exploring health professions. So great to see students diving into content!
Busy block days at BVNW! Number challenges in math strategies, vocab games in ESOL, learning styles in Spanish, simulations in AP US history, book finds for ELA & world geography lessons in the library, stadium food safety in culinary arts, & team promos in marketing management.
It’s been a great first two days, @BVNW_Huskies! From hypothesis testing & insurance-Monopoly money simulations to math strategy games & building scavenger hunts, our classrooms have been busy. We love having everyone back at BVNW. Looking forward to next week!
Mr. Vodehnal’s Design & Development class finished building their 3D-printed rockets this week & launched them during final exams today. A great way to head into summer!
Students in Honors Spanish with Profe Martens created 3D art representations to compare classic Spanish art with more contemporary pieces. Students communicated their comparisons to practice their Spanish & share their favorite pieces of art history. So much talent!
This week physical science students in Mr. Blackburn, Ms. Heiman & Mr. Smith’s classes did mass to volume conversions & then used stoichiometry to scale down a cake recipe to make single-serving microwave cakes. What a delicious review!
