As the BVU Livestock Show Team grows, so does the demand for more power to run everything. We just completed an electrical upgrade at the Ag Experiment station to accommodate our growing BVU Ag student population. Great work Mike and all involved!
A quick shout out to BVU Alum Jeff Christians and Ranco Fertiservice Inc. of Sioux Rapids for an informative tour! We greatly enjoyed learning about your fertilizer handling equipment manufacturing business. Thank you for supporting Ag at BVU.
The spring semester may have ended, but not for BVU Pre-vet student Floyd Miller, seen here assisting the BV Vet Clinic at the BVU Ag Experiment Station.
A big thank you to Mr. Allen Patten, Regional Vice President in Northwest Iowa for Farm Credit Services of America, for assisting with our Ag news interview sessions being produced by the BVU Digital Media students!
BVU's Digital Media Major, Morgan Krull, won first place in the Farm & Agribusiness reporting category for the Iowa Broadcast News Association statewide radio contest on April 17 for her audio story “From Drought to Derecho.” You can listen to it here: https://t.co/OdxRtdeihg
We enjoyed collaborating with Buena Vista County Farm Bureau, Alta Implement, the City of Alta and NEW Coop, in hosting an Ag Safety Event for our Alta-Aurelia Driver's Education Class.
