An impressive 1st half, fueled by DEFENSE, gave Lourdes all the separation they needed to roll to a MHAL semifinal win on their home floor. @lilalovgren11 went for 17, Sofi Pelish 16, @BVelovic30 11 & all had strong outings in the win. @gabbymurphy25 caught fire 🔥 after the break and led all scorers with 24 for Marlboro.

A hot start from @lilalovgren11, strong all-around interior play from @BVelovic30, and a stout half-court defensive effort helped Lourdes grab a comfortable early lead, and they were able to survive a pressure-fueled furious late rally from Kennedy Catholic to finish on top in their tip-off tournament. 21 for Velovic, 15 for Lovgren in the W; three in double digits for KC paced by Reese Carlo’s 12 (8 in q4).
