This Association is mainly about economic liberation for women in South Africa and empowering women to enter the cooperate world without being downgraded due to the fact that they are a women
Gugulethu emphasises that in our University we are mostly educated about white important males who were either racist in our history or degraded women such as President Steyn. Therefore she states that we dont know anything about powerful women who dedicated their lives for us.
The 2 most powerful women who dedication their lives for UFS are Mama Winkie Direko and Mama Ivy who is our 1st Premeir at UFS which as students here we know nothing about them. This is due to the fact that they are women and as we all know women weren't taken serious in our past
