@ashr_jade @Basam_aza Your right. Drench for worms 3 to 5 times a year depending on the season and worm burdens vaccinated twice a year crutched twice a year shorne once a year. Then to think the sheep need the land but can be in the one hectare the hole year because of worm build up and feed.

@wuzzie64 @demetriou_73894 @MickamiousG Also people forget the drought struck unusual places. I live in the south east of south Australia we and Western Victoria are the number 2 and number 3 biggest producers of lamb the riverina number 1. We all went into drought in the same 24month period.

@wuzzie64 @demetriou_73894 @MickamiousG In 2023 to in 2025 selling a 50kg lamb for 78 dollars. And selling mutton from 120 a head in 2023 to selling mutton in 2025 for 11 dollars a head. Most of that was due to WA getting rid of ewes. And during drought everyone had to sell breeding ewes for meat to make a living.

600 thousand lambs come from WA to SA every year for abattoirs. With the live ban and the drought wa where sending 400 thousand sheep a month. I went from selling 35kg lambs for $185 a head
