19 years ago today, Nick Saban was formally introduced as the head football coach at the University of Alabama.
What followed was the greatest run in college football history:

π 76 First-Team All-Americans (47 consensus or unanimous)
π 133 NFL Draft picks β 47 first-round selections
π College Football Hall of Fame
βI canβt tell you how pleased and honored I am to be your coach at the University of Alabamaβ¦
It will be our goal to give you the kind of football program and team that you can be proud of β one that complements the tradition this institution has built.β
Absolute domination.
A run college football will never see again.
Thank you, Coach.
@AlabamaFTBL been a fan for 54 years and this is the first time I can honestly say I'm embarrassed of @AlabamaFTBL ,even Through the Mike years it wasn't this embarrassing! π@KalenDeboer
@AlabamaFTBL@TheLegend120139 I hope they have his plane ticket back to Washington as soon as they arrive back in Tuscaloosa! It didn't even take him 3 years to destroy everything Saban built at Bama and spit in the faces of @markingramII@juliojones_11 !!! @KalenDeBoer πyou
@RyanCFowler Pathetic! That's what! @AlabamaFTBL got lucky against Oklahoma! This @KalenDeBoer BS coaching and west coast mentality won't work in the #SEC! My wife, mother, oldest daughter all graduated Law School at the Capstone and this is the 2nd rendition of the Shula years!
@rodger Simple! It wasn't a regular season game! You can punish a team for making it into their conference championship game, win or lose, and commend a team that lost to every ranked team they played all season and won their Pop Warner games! ND should grow a pair and join a conference
@92killaa That's comical! Every team ND lost to this year were ranked, all they won were their Pop Warner games! Bama or Oklahoma would've curb stomped ND! Period! This is the same shit ND fans said in 2012, how did that work out? Oh ya, 42-14 ! Enjoy your Crow and HaterRade
