📣 BRIDGEWATER TRANSIT NOTICE

There will be a brief unexpected disruption to Bridgewater Transit service for approximately one hour today between 4 and 5 p.m.

TRAFFIC > Paving work will continue today in Bridgewater with crews on Pearl Street and King Street, between School and Jubilee. Motorists are advised to expect brief delays in these areas and encouraged to plan travel routes accordingly. Details: https://t.co/nWi6ozLsFg.
TRAFFIC > The following section of street will be closed to traffic to facilitate grading and paving:

📣 PAVEMENT RENEWAL UPDATE TODAY

There is no milling work scheduled in Bridgewater today. Paving work will begin on Monday, weather pending. We will share location information for that paving work as it becomes available.
TRAFFIC > Motorists are advised that pavement renewal work today is taking place on Exhibition Drive, Alpine Drive, and Audrey Drive.
Traffic control will be on site. Please expect brief delays and plan your travel time and routes accordingly.
TRAFFIC > Crews will be carrying out milling work in preparation for pavement renewal today on York Street (between Starr and Victoria), King Street (between School and Jubilee), and Exhibition Drive (between Dufferin and Jubilee).
TRAFFIC > Pavement renewal work will take place today on Glen Allan Drive, north King Street between Logan and Fancy, and York Street between Victoria and Starr. Expect brief delays and plan travel accordingly.

STORM > Reminder to motorists to treat intersections equipped with traffic lights that are without power and offline as an all-way stop. Additionally, residents are again asked to avoid unnecessary travel at this time.
📣 STORM > Police are asking motorists in Bridgewater to avoid all unnecessary travel at this time as Public Works crews deal with tree debris on roads in many areas. Do your part to keep everyone safe and stay home until after the storm if you can.

Tree reported on power lines on the lower (east) end of Pine Street. The area is temporarily closed to traffic as crews respond.
MOTORISTS > The intersection of High and Victoria is closed to traffic on Thursday and Friday. Logan Road, between Wentzell and St. Phillips, will close for work starting on Friday. Detours are in place. Details at: https://t.co/nWi6ozLsFg.

TRAFFIC > Motorists are advised that QUEEN STREET, from Dominion Street to Empire Street, will be closed to traffic to facilitate sidewalk renewal on Monday, July 31, 2023 until approximately 4:30 p.m.

🚧 TRAFFIC UPDATE > VEINOT BRIDGE
Veinot Bridge has been deemed unsafe at this time for use and will be closed to vehicular AND pedestrian traffic. Jersey barriers will be placed on the bridge in cooperation with Nova Scotia Public Works.
