Here's 5 minutes of working class Americans showing that the American dream is indeed a nightmare.
Castlevania:Nocture Season 2 is out now.
If you are a fan of vampires or even of animation, give the show a watch. There is a strong connection with the number viewers we get to what we can to do next season, and we still have so many more stories we want to tell.
As of today, New Jersey filed for a Temporary Restraining Order on NYC congestion tax, which the judge needs to grant it within the next four days. You might think “I don’t drive a car so this doesn’t affect me.” Unfortunately, you will be completely wrong if this goes into effect, and as a New Yorker will pay a heavy price for that inaction.
The reason I have such strong feelings about the NYC congestion tax isn’t solely that it is expensive and arbitrary. It represents a blatant example of everything wrong with our government today.
1. It’s illegal: In addition to various civil lawsuits, New Jersey has sued repeatedly to stop it, and for good reasons. Pushing forward despite ongoing legal challenges between states without federal oversight is an abuse of power.
2. It’s bad policy: There’s zero concrete evidence of any real benefits, while the downsides—crippling small businesses, hurting office rents, and discouraging economic activity—are glaringly obvious with common sense.
3. It’s purely political: Governor Hochul’s arbitrary halting and reinstatement of the tax during this past summer is the literal definition of “election tampering,” using policy as a pawn for political gain. It’s sickening to watch.
So this isn’t just about a tax. It’s about the overreach, corruption, and dysfunction that have come to define governance in New York. Stopping this is more than practical—it’s symbolic of 2025, a new era. It’s a chance to reset New York on a better, fairer path.
