FM #Aleinik addressed the opening of 2️⃣ National Forum on Sustainable Development:
We are convinced that life itself, sooner or later, will force all countries of the world to listen to reason and start looking for ways out of the deadlock.
The sooner the better - especially for sustainable development.
FM #Aleinik: #Belarus 🇧🇾 has an answer to the current challenges in global politics.
Conceptually, it is President #Lukashenko's initiative on the need to "launch" a global security dialogue in the spirit of San Francisco, put forward back in 2017.
The President of the Republic of #Belarus spoke at the Climate Summit last November in Dubai, calling on the Western countries to stop wars and conflicts and direct the freed up resources to peaceful development
#Belarus’ FM #Aleinik: A key constraint to achieving the SDGs is the degradation and almost complete imbalance of
international relations caused by the Western countries' aspiration ☝️to preserve global hegemony.
A different policy is pursued by China, Russia, BRICS countries, etc.
FM #Aleinik at 2️⃣ National Forum on Sustainable Development urged to consider not only issues with @SDG2030 at the national level, but also challenges specific to the global context:
"Unfortunately, the international community has fulfilled the 2030 Agenda by about 20 per cent"
#Belarus FM #Aleinik: The result of our longstanding commitment to the sustainable development is very clear - according to international estimates, #Belarus has implemented the 2030 Agenda by ☝️80 per cent @SDGs_BY@SDG2030
FM #Aleinik addressed the participants of the 2️⃣ National Forum on Sustainable Development:
💬We remember the truly visionary words of President #Lukashenko at the 2015 Summit that "there can be no sustainable development without peace and security". Today no one doubts their relevance

Permanent Representative 🇧🇾 to @UN Rybakov:
Those who design unilateral sanctions have no brains. Those who apply them have no heart. Those who justify sanctions have no conscience. It is sad that some people combine all three of these qualities
Permanent Representative Valentin Rybakov @BelarusUNNY addressed @UN GA:
To colleagues from some Western countries, for whom the sanctions stick is the only instrument of bilateral relations, we would say one thing: you should deal with the problems in your own countries, do not prevent us from building our lives, choosing our political system and our model of development as the people of #Belarus want it
