Our second study area in the IDeA labs is biological systems. One lab they are currently working on is the Bee Project. It is working on interpreting bees waggle dance in real time, by creating a mechanical Bee to do the waggle dance.

The second lab in our Social Systems IDeA lab project is the Story lab, which is working to identify sequences of events from text and develop software to link events together and sequence them with the real world.

There are four research categories in our Information and Decision Algorithms (IDeA) lab. One is Social Systems; and one of the two Social Systems projects is the Sports Analytics lab which just had a paper accepted into a Sport Analytics Conference on baseball pitching sequences
