And yet, in my student ward, we sang a song called “High On the Mountain Top”. Why are we still singing about mountains when the Lord’s anointed, Kevin J. Worthen, has clearly outlawed them? Why is BYU afraid to stand for the truth?

I had a class where one of my professors (probably a Mark Cyst) had us read this book of so-called “scripture” called the Psalms (which, by the way, is nowhere to be found in the Book of Mormon) where the Lord supposedly calls out from his “holy mountain”??

Indeed, perhaps the thing that strengthens our testimony the most is the ability we have to be as ambiguous as we want with the commandment to “love” to make it mean whatever we feel like, which allows us to circumvent any real sacrifice on our part and still feel pious.
