#pac12 teams feel they have an open invite to #big12 at anytime in future. No urgency in moving. If they stay together, great, if #bigten poaches in future, there will always be big12 at that time.

It sounds like there is an agreement between remaining 10 #pac12 teams to sign a GORs for 5 years. There is an exclusion for #big10 invites. But does protect from #ACC #big12. Thought across the board is that big12 is an open invite for most pac12 to big12

Why add Colorado, that already dumped you looking for greener pastures, or Utah, a state you’ve already maximized viewership benefit. Especially when there are California power5 schools still on play.

Bad blood remains. Don’t expect #big12 to try and add #colorado unless they’ve exhausted their other options. Hearing big12 may even prefer Oregon state or Washington state over #colorado.

Why would #SEC and #bigten target the most valuable, and then #big12 try and add the least valuable school first? #BIG12 targeting Oregon and Washington, then Stanford and Cal, then then Arizona schools, then Colorado, then Utah. Adding Utah adds nothing.

Breaking news, Sitake has informed Oregon he will not be interviewing for the job. He has contract adjustment with #BYU that will put him at the mid tier average of #big12 coaches and also ensures his assistants will be near average to their big 12 colleagues. #byu #byufootball

Sitake has a desire to be a lifer at #BYU and see them through this transition to #big12. Will have contract bonuses that pay him at high end of big12 coaches if team performs to that level.

I am also told #BYU has officially applied to join the #BIGXII and has been in agreement for over a week, they are simply waiting for the BIG XII to have a procedural meet and make their announcement Friday, which is simply a formality at this point.

@JonnyBYU only info isn’t official, but sounds like most teams want to split the 4 Texas schools like the pac12 splits the 4 California schools. So likely #byu with Texastech and TCU.

Notice how all three AAC teams have official inside reports that they have applied for #big12 membership, but there has been nothing leaked out of #byu other than assumptions. I’m the only one that has brought inside information on what they’re doing.
