@FreddyLA7 Love that you love Alabama so much! We have a lot more to our state than people give us credit for. I read you’re headed out west. Rocky Mountain national park in Colorado (Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillion, Keystone-beautiful towns) and the Tetons in Jackson Wyoming are a must!

When he’s not building rockets, boring tunnels beneath Los Angeles, or sending cars into space, Elon Musk reads a lot. Here are 9 nonfiction books he thinks we should all read.

Goals… make it past go (aka #1)

[James Clear @JamesClear]

1) Do less. Stop dividing your attention.

2) Do it right now. Once you have identified the essential, go fast. Maintain a bias toward action.

3) Do it the right way. Acting quickly doesn't mean acting carelessly. Get to work right away, but keep working on it until it's right.

[James Clear @JamesClear]

If one worldview dominates your thinking, you'll explain every situation in life through that lens.

I like to think about changing my perspective like putting on a pair of glasses with colored lenses.

Try the red lens or blue lens for a minute and different things stand out.

May we all take time today to reflect on the life and legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. This excerpt from his sermon provides a clear depiction of the value he placed on human life and his importance of caring for others before self. #MLKday #breadthoflife #webeforeme

“If you want to get warm you must stand near the fire: if you want to be wet you must get into the water. If you want joy, power, peace, eternal life, you must get close to, or even into, the thing that has them.”

Heart check:

What comes out of our mouth is a direct reflection of what’s stored up in our heart. If we want to assess how we’re doing, all we have to do is listen to what we’re saying.
