This is will be my last post on X for some time, maybe forever. The last straw was a post about the Newsom/DeSantis debate where someone included a cartoon image of what should be banned: sexually explicit with dialog suggesting 12 year old boys. Child pornography is illegal.

@krassenstein An LA Times column by Robin Abcarian said, "Twenty minutes in, however, I had a headache. There was so much cross-talk and interrupting — by both governors — that it was impossible to hear what they were saying." That may tell you a lot about opinions from people on Twitter/X.

@poudelsuman32 @jorjorward @krassenstein Well, one thing to understand is that the Israeli response to Hamas attacking civilians living in or visiting Israel is unfortunately a lot more effective at killing Palestinians who are not members of Hamas than those who are members of Hamas.

@BobFighter_45 That Breitbart article is inaccurate: I saw Christie's statement and he blamed Trump for an increase in antisemitism and did not "excuse" antisemitism. You might not agree with Christie, but at least blame him for what he really said.

@FightMate This stupid video was obviously staged: some guy appears to have instantly taken his shirt off in the middle of what looks like a fight. Really? Generally there isn't time to do that. Besides it was filmed.

@XNoBoundsX @RonFilipkowski There's some data suggesting a health hazard but may be biased by older stoves that use pilot lights & that are in bad condition, particularly in low-income apartments. The solution may be to get landlords to upgrade these stoves. Republicans won't like that either.

@RonFilipkowski FYI banning gas stoves is being considered by some cities, although it is more like eliminating delivering natural gas in order to reduce global warming. It won't do much - kind of like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. It is not the federal government proposing this.

@mccrabb_will You'll find such errors in a lot of movies due to the cost of filming the scene a second time. A classic one is in North by Northwest were Cary Grant is shot with blanks. A kid in the background puts his fingers in his ears before the shot.

@Victorshi2020 The term "Tricky Dick" reminds me of the time Nixon had pulled some sort of fast one. Over breakfast, with a group working at a radio telescope, I commented on it, referring to Nixon as "Crafty Richard". Someone said, "Very good - respect for the office."

@Badgers89_ @tribelaw Hamas doesn't have to go along to resolve the issue in the West Bank, and if that happened, there would be more resources for dealing with Hamas. Regardless, don't confuse the residents of Gaza with Hamas.
