I waited 1 year for “urgent” heart surgery where I remained bed ridden and on antibiotics. A year of my life I won’t get back.

@markroseman You can add mine to the list. Urgent referral for PET scan of the heart following treatment for endocarditis took over 8 weeks. Time from initial hospitalization to surgery to replace two heart valves was over 10 months adding up all the waits.
