Ship40 recovery update

It should be dawn at Ship40 within a few hours.

As best we can tell, Normand Ranger appears to have affixed a tow to Ship40 (possibly with an inflated “sled” assist). Skimmer Tide and GO Australis are positioned alongside - either with additional lines or simply holding station.

GO Australis has now been at sea for more than 20 days, though one of the other vessels may have replenished them after arriving yesterday.

Also worth noting: GO Australis carries the excellent photography team - should we be expecting a recovery documentary?

Current conditions show some outward flow working against their progress toward Western Australia. At best they may be making around 4 knots of headway (My Radar Pro map clip annotated for educational purposes).

Will be watching closely.
