Men really do take advantage of Single Mothers. Its sad, feels like double jeopardy even... Please build yourselves well before you remarry as a single mother I beg you, Finances, Emotional intelligence, Be aware that some are out to actually scam you for money you have built
Some Men hide under the illusion of love to strip their vulnerable partners of dignity.
Being a Single mother should not make you become a shadow of your true self. Better Single than staying with an opportunistic partner in the name of Marriage .
Learn or perish , its that simple now
I chatted with my younger Brother this afternoon, my Mum's last child and I was complaining bitterly about something and a particular regret I had , He kept reminding me of How far we have come and how much I take on. Sister you are doing a lot, a whole lot, He prayed for me and I have to admit, I cried. "Your children will acknowledge and appreciate your sacrifices. They will be good to you" they will turn out well" sometimes you don't realise how much you need to hear some things and I feel compelled to write to you again this evening
If you come from where some of us came from, then you know life does not hand out certificates for surviving.
It expects results, nobody sees the work, you are only acknowledged when the results begin to show , positive result that is .
Many people see the house, the confidence, the smile, the qualifications, the businesses and the platform.
They do not see the tears, lots of it behind closed doors
They do not see the days when I sat alone wondering how I would feed three children.
They do not see the years after divorce when anxiety sat beside me like an unwanted visitor.
They do not see the jobs I worked, the opportunities I created for myself, the courses I paid for when money was tight, or the nights I cried and still woke up to carry on.
If you are with me on this journey of growth, hear this loud and very clear,
Your background is not a life sentence,
It is simply your starting point.
Do not spend your energy comparing your Chapter 2 to somebody else's Chapter 20.
We all have a beginning and some have advantages that have excluded us , so, Run your race.
Learn new skills,
Read books, again Read books, in fact listen to books, lots are free on YouTube
Develop your mind, so crucially, you need to build confidence and resilience
Guard your reputation, integrity matters a lot. Don't lose it in the pursuit of more
Keep your word, Hnmmm and don't do more than yourself. People will move on so quickly once you fall behind
Be somebody people can trust.
The world is full of talented people who never developed discipline.
Discipline will take you further than talent.
And when life becomes heavy,
pray.see that prayers, I can never joke with it. I pray like a lunatic at times, I ask God for anything and everything o. In fact I ask Him if He has forgotten me at times.
Not because prayer replaces effort.
But because prayer gives hope strength for the effort.
When I am stressed, I pray more.
When I am confused, I pray more.
When doors seem shut, I pray more.
I ask Allah for guidance, favour, wisdom and strength to keep moving.
Then I get up and do the work.
Never allow temporary hardship to convince you that your future is small. Walahi it's not but learn contentment and be grateful as you grow
Some of us were born with very little.
Yet by the mercy of Allah and consistent effort, we are building lives we once only imagined.
Keep going, keep building, keep working hard, stay focused, and Never STOP praying
Your story is still being written.
May Allah bless our efforts, increase us in wisdom, protect us from distractions and grant us success that brings peace, purpose and barakah. 🤲🤲🤲

As a Muslim woman, your dignity is far more valuable than the fleeting attention of social media. Do not reduce yourself to a commodity whose worth is measured by likes, comments, views, or the approval of strangers.
When a person consistently posts pictures and videos designed to attract attention through physical appearance, suggestive poses, or excessive exposure, they often invite the gaze, comments, and advances of people who neither respect them nor wish them well. The attention may feel gratifying for a while, but it is temporary and can leave behind emotional, spiritual, and psychological consequences when it fades.
Your body is an amānah (trust) from Allah, not a tool for public validation. Let your presence online reflect your intellect, character, faith, kindness, achievements, and positive contributions to society. Build a legacy that will outlive your beauty and your youth.
One day, we will all leave this world. When that day comes, let the footprints you leave behind on social media be a source of reward for you—posts that inspire goodness, spread beneficial knowledge, encourage righteousness, and cause people to pray for you rather than regret what they have seen.
A woman of honour is not defined by how much attention she attracts, but by the values she upholds and the respect she commands. Preserve your dignity, guard your modesty, and never trade lasting worth for temporary applause.

What he is quoting and teaching is from the Sharia. That’s the law. I swear by the Almighty who created me, if the sections of the Sharia on capital punishment are borrowed by the government to tackle banditry, kidnapping, and insurgency, in 6 months, it will be a thing of the past. Nobody will dare call himself a bandit, identify with a kidnapper, not to mention kidnapping somebody for ransom. But when we are ready as a nation, we will do the right thing.
May the Almighty preserve Dr. Lafiaji in goodness.
“The burdens so heavy that no one else notices”
The silent battles, the hidden worries, the weight carried behind the smiles. Yet, somehow, you keep showing up, keep pushing forward, and keep holding on.
May Allah ease every burden and grant relief where it is needed mostly🤍
To the woman who is trying…
Trying to provide.
Trying to be strong.
Trying to keep going when life feels overwhelming.
Trying to nurture your home.
Trying to balance responsibilities that seem never-ending.
Trying to heal from wounds no one can see.
I see you.
Some days you feel exhausted. Some days you wonder if your efforts are enough. Some days you carry burdens so heavy that no one else notices.
But every step you take, every sacrifice you make, and every time you choose to keep going, you are showing a strength that deserves to be celebrated.
This season may be difficult, but it is not the end of your story.
Keep believing.
Keep growing.
Keep trusting.
Your story is not over.
