(Proverbs 24:17-20)
[17] Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, And let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: [18] Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, And he turn away his wrath from him. [19] Fret not thyself because of evil men, Neither be thou envious at the wicked; [20] For there shall be no reward to the evil man; The candle of the wicked shall be put out.
@BasedMikeLee (Galatians 1:8)
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
@Annakhait@BasedMikeLee Galatians 1:8-9
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel....
That mother needs to hear the gospel from someone who knows the Bible well enough to answer her questions using scripture and not "feelings." There is far more hope in it than most realize but also judgment for those who don't repent and receive Salvation. I pray she has someone like this. And if not, does anyone know how to get in touch?
Many of them want to get paid while the people they "serve?" reap the consequences of their inability to put politics aside for those very people. A massive petition of citizens would show them we desire them to bear those same consequences. Imagine if they put aside their egos to actually do something good. Many of them likely think of themselves as rulers rather than civil servants. Look at what happens to a society that forgets to honor the Creator. Romans chapter 1 warns of these very things and our founders foresaw the possibility.
(1 John 5:7, 10-13)
[7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
[10] He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. [11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [13] These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(John 1:1-5, 14)
[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
[14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
@RupertLowe10 As an American whose DNA says 71% of me came from various parts of the UK, I must say, it's good to see the people of the land of my ancestors wake up from their slumber. Though, I pray for your salvation in Jesus more than your freedom. There is no life without him.
@RupertLowe10 And that is a contributing factor to their current predicament.
They've turned their hearts away from God, and the Gospel of Jesus.
Same with the US.
(Psalm 33:12) Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; And the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
1) Hatred
To hear and see those who profess themselves to be followers of Jesus speak of others in the manner some do is a shame and hinders the message of the Gospel.
(1 John 3:18-19) KJV
[18] My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. [19] And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
(2 Corinthians 4:3-4)
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(1 Corinthians 15:33-34)
[33] Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. [34] Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
(James 3:10) Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
(Proverbs 10:12) Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
(Luke 6:27-33)
[27] But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, [28] bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. [29] And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also. [30] Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. [31] And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. [32] For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. [33] And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
(2 Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(1 John 4:7-11)
[7] Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. [8] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. [9] In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. [10] Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
(Matthew 7:21-23)
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(2 Thessalonians 2:10-12)
[10] and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
(Titus 1:16) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

(Matthew 22:35-40) Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, [36] Master, which is the great commandment in the law? [37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
(John 13:34-35) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. [35] By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
(1 John 4:7-8) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. [8] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
(1 John 3:18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
(Proverbs 10:12) Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
(Ephesians 4:30-31) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: [32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christโs sake hath forgiven you.
(Matthew 6:14-15) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: [15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
(2 Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
(1 Corinthians 2:9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

(John 3:16-21) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they ,are wrought in God.
(Romans 3:10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
(Jeremiah 17:9) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
(Proverbs 24:17-18) Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
[18] Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
(Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(John 3:19-21) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. [20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
(Luke 6:27-28) But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, [28] bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
(Ephesians 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
(Romans 5:8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(John 3:17-18) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(James 4:14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
(Matthew 6:19-21) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
(1 John 2:15-17) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
(John 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(Romans 10:9-10) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
@octy66@peterstopcrime The history of Islam is one of conquest and yet the conquest of the UK happened without battles being fought.
Apparently no one paid much attention in history class.
Voting for socialist policies also has never ended well for any society.
And yet here we are.
Only hope is Jesus.
