@Jmoon213@jelynchjr @lpkbookit Like they always do? Which QB in the whole history of the league has thrown for 50 TDs in a season and then been figured out by the league? Lol
Jesus I get that the clear recovery rule is stupid but the cowboys were called for 11 penalties for 111 yards the eagles were called for 5 for 49 yards this idea that the refs were completely against the eagles is laughable and honestly pathetic at this point
@PhilaPhans@MarcFarzetta@jelynchjr Harvey said his arm felt extremely tired and like it “wasn’t working at all” before his diagnosis. And it took one specialist one day to figure out the problem
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt I get that UCF hasn’t lost. But their biggest wins are Memphis, Cincinnati and Temple. Idk how you make it fair by telling LSU who played 6 or 7 top 25 teams they aren’t as good as UCF bc UCF went undefeated. Guess we will find out in the bowl game though
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt To say that it’s all objective and only about catching eyes implies the 4 teams there didn’t all earn it and that’s where I disagree. If GA doesn’t get blown out by LSU or OSU by Purdue they are in. I don’t think any of the 4 teams are unreasonable or even wrong
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt I don’t hate the idea except then the imbalance between the 5 powers becomes a huge issue. The ACC is a lot closer to the AAC than they are to the SEC.
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt Yea it takes a complete over haul. Or you just use the system you have and hope for as little controversy as possible. I think every team that didn’t make it this year should reasonably understand why and if GA wins close VS Bama I think controversy is avoided all together
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt The message to UCF is pretty simple I think the committee understands they have at least 8 and probably more teams that go undefeated facing that same schedule and that’s factored in to their decision making
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt But what happens then is the imbalance of having to play in the one division where losing 1 game keeps you out of your conference champ game and another where 5 losses gets you in it becomes a HUGE issue. I agree I’d love some way to make it easy. I just don’t know what it is
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt And if Michigan is held out over teams like Washington and UCF then you’re basically telling teams don’t schedule anyone tough bc your only 2 losses can be to playoff teams and that’s enough to automatically keep you out
@K_Todd_62287 @AndrewBrandt Yea but that’s best case scenario. What if Utah, Texas, Pitt, or Northwestern had won their conference championship games? You ignore everything and just put them in? That’s the risk you run in having set criteria like winning power 5 conferences gets you in.
