Best day ever: when your final measurement matches the expectations & proves that your research is useful! #acoustics #helmholtz #resistance

[Bettine Gommer @B_Gommer]

I'm almost there! Stay tuned for some results on resistance based improvement #acoustics #helmholtz #graduation

[Bettine Gommer @B_Gommer]

Wauw, #graduating can be fun! Great photoshoot today with my favorite model. Isn't she pretty? #helmholtz #acoustics

Part of my #graduation: looking at the implementation with a case study in #Odeon #modelling #acoustics #sti #RT

This is so cool!! Don't forget to listen with headphones to get the spatial audio right. #acoustics #360video https://t.co/7nW6QMIU9Q

We've just completed a 360 video of our anechoic https://t.co/BZldktGqWF https://t.co/HlJPY98jH4

Today is all about validating my previous results. Exciting! Deadline in 23 days.. #acoustics #graduation #coolstuff

Comparing measured and analytical data makes me wonder: what's the truth? What would you trust? #daretoask #acoustics #helmholtz #graduation

Must see, excellent acoustic design:

Fun w/ clay: measuring LF&MF in the large tube. Extra sealing to avoid undesirable resonances #acoustics #helmholtz

[Bettine Gommer @B_Gommer]

@katjakruit It will improve your room acoustics and can be tuned to specific frequency ranges, depending on the type of room it will be in!

[Bettine Gommer @B_Gommer]

@katjakruit I'm afraid it won't reduce the sound level at your neighbors, but do think it will look pretty next to a piano!

With roughly 2 months left my research is slowly but surely being put into practice. Where would you like use a 3D printed absorbing panel?

Deze week couscous van bloemkool. Nu pizzabodem van bloemkool met heerlijke topping door @B_Gommer. Ik bof maar.

[Bettine Gommer @B_Gommer]

Goal for today: efficiently showing the velocity profile in a helmholtz neck using @COMSOL_Inc. Any suggestions?

[Bettine Gommer @B_Gommer]

My 3D prints have arrived! Today I'll be looking at the effect of vertical fins in #helmholtz resonators. @shapeways
