This buddy of mine is absolutely one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He's completely genuine too. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Congrats Ben!!!

Time for Marty St. Louis and his coaching staff to make some adjustments.....it's a couple games late but you need to try something and help get your team back in the game
@CanadiensMTL
The @NHL just can't get out of their own way. Terrible non-goalie-interference call.
Refs won't even talk to the @CanadiensMTL
Great job by this sports betting business
I wonder if anyone from the @EdmontonOilers will have a chat with Seattle Kraken's Ryan Lindgren the next time they meet during the 26/27 season.
Re: head hit on #LetsGoOilers Bouchard
“It’s upsetting…There was two teams that asked it’s public knowledge now, and I would like to talk to them. I want to go to work. I’m a hockey coach.”
Bruce Cassidy speaks on Vegas not allowing him to interview for other teams.
@CanadiensMTL Texier with an idiotic penalty at the end of the 2nd period. Dumb move. No need for it and now your team is down to start the 3rd. This is the last thing you needed right now.
Thank you, Mark, for asking this question. Although it is not John's decision to deny permission to the Oilers speaking with Cassidy, it is interesting to note what happened between him, the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Philadelphia Flyers.

I asked John Tortorella how he feels about the precedent being set by the Bruce Cassidy situation as a member of the coaching fraternity, especially given the fact that the Flyers granted him the permission to talk to Vegas, but he said, "I have no comment on that."
As for Bruce Cassidy, sources indicate that was not part of the conversation and his status is unchanged as of this morning
Vegas is not inclined to give permission to Edmonton or LA. We will see about Toronto
I take comfort in knowing that Dostal and this team won't go far these playoffs.
It's been a lot of hockey for our team these last couple years. Get some rest. Get recovered. And I hope the players we want back come back fully healthy.

Bowman says he does not have a firm timeline on when a new coach will be brought in: "We're not going to rush into anything in the next couple of days here...we're not going to stretch it out any longer than it needs to be."
#LetsGoOilers
Stan Bowman on what the team needs from their coach:
"Whether it's holding them accountable, or how can you enforce that to a greater degree, so you get more...whether that word is compliance, or you get more consistent performance.
"Because, at the end of the day, it is players who are jumping over the boards and making things happen or not. So when they've shown they can do it, but they don't always do it, then the question is, well, how can we get there?
"You could say, well then you just change out the players. I guess that could be one approach. But the other approach is can you find a coach that can get the most out of those, those guys and I think that's what we're looking for."
#LetsGoOilers
Stan Bowman on next steps:
"We plan to do a wide search and talk to a number of coaches to understand their philosophies on what they would see and envision with our team, with the current group, as well as what other types of players that they think are going to help them play their system..."
#LetsGoOilers
Stan Bowman when asked about the Bruce Cassidy media reports: "I'm not going to comment on media reports about other candidates - that's not appropriate to be doing that.
"We didn't rush through this. We did an analysis, and like I said at the outset, Kris is a tremendous guy. I have a lot of respect for him as a person and as a coach, but we didn't make our decision until very recently, and then once that decision was made, that we felt we had to make a change, then it was just a matter of - I believe it's important to meet with people in person rather than on the phone.
"So it was more of a logistical thing, you know, that it took until late last night before Kris and I were able to actually sit down and and talk it through. So that's that's unfortunate, but there was certainly no disrespect. We did a long review, and we didn't come to this decision until very recently."

Stan Bowman on Kris Knoblauch's firing:
"When we performed our analysis and our review about where we headed as a team, we just felt that we needed a different voice to lead us to where we want to get to..."

Sabres 29 made no attempt to stop as he heads Straight into @CanadiensMTL goaltender with intent to injure.
@NHLPlayerSafety should look at this, but you know they wont do a damn thing
