@HopeandAnchorFC rounded off a very torrid season with a 10-0 defeat to the Champions in waiting AFC Winkfield on Cantley’s 3G.
Tried their best & never gave up, but Winkfield were too strong & organised (plus notably younger & fitter!)
A big summer rebuild & refocus in store 🤞

After a few weeks off due to rain @HopeandAnchorFC returned to the long grown wilds of Barkham Rec & put up a good fight but narrowly lost 2-1 vs @AshridgeParkFC

After a couple of improved performances, a massive regression this week saw @HopeandAnchorFC 2 down after 10 minutes, back in the game for approx 90 seconds at 2-1 before ending the half 8-1 down & into double figures at the end with a miserable 12-1 loss vs Finch Res 😱

A new year & same old result - 3-0 defeat vs @Whitegrove_FC - but signs of encouragement with both the numbers (4 subs!) & performance.

Another battling performance yesterday morning that ended with 9 men standing due to injuries & lack of subs.
Jordi with the Maradona-esque weave through a packed defence for the consolation in a 4-1 defeat to AB Utd.

Unlike last week H&A Fc were able to name a full squad - just as well with a couple of last minute drop outs - & fought valiantly, but were ultimately overrun by the early season pacesetters @HartsBracknell going down 5-1.
