I wasn’t thinking about Pamela Anderson but let’s talk about her.

Pamela is a once-in-a-lifetime beauty. So striking she was offered a modeling contract after being spotted for a moment at a football game. That kind of beauty doesn’t come around often.

She’s now 57. About to become a grandmother. And she’s not clinging to youth the way so many of you seem to gloat about.

In the ‘90s, she knew what she was, a sex symbol. That level of attention is often lonely. But she fell in love and had children.

Now, in a world terrified of aging, she shows up to red carpets bare-faced. No Botox. No filler. Not even a hair and makeup team.

She used her beauty to build a life, love, legacy, and now, wisdom. And that’s what she’s passing on.

Grandmas don’t need to be sexy. They get to knit. Paint. Bake. Watch their daughters become mothers.

A woman may lose her sexual capital with age. But her value? It evolves into something that the next generation desperately needs. May we all be blessed to get the opportunity to age because it isn’t guaranteed.

@WallStreetApes Wendy’s beef patties aren’t frozen. Only chicken is frozen. If the patties have gone past the acceptable time to be served on a burger, they’re put in the cooler for chili. Nothing weird about that. I use my own leftover cooked hamburger meat for soups and chili at home.

@ThatRosaryGirl This is insane. The whole point of feminism was to give women CHOICE. This is saying one of those choices is wrong 😡 I have a career I love, but without one doubt, I love being a mom even more. We shouldn’t tell women it’s wrong to work-it’s wrong to have kids-wrong to want both

@revenant_MMXX I feel like MacOS in ‘12-14 was prime. Today’s hardware doesn’t hold up. My college roommate went through 2 windows laptops in 4 years. I could still use my ���12 Mac laptop efficiently until 2018.

@revenant_MMXX As someone that does design work and moved to a PC-W11 recently, I miss:
-Keyboard shortcut for screenshots (not an app)
-Easy keyboard shortcuts for almost everything (ctrl vs command button placement on the keyboard)
-Preview app
-Airdrop
-Time Machine
