Commissioner Khumalo: "Prof, you said you are here to give us a warning that there's going to be resistance to implementation of our recommendations.
Looking at the PSC's implementation record across the criminal justice system and how low it is, what are reasons?
Considering that we are going to study the evidence, write our report and make recommendations, and once the Commission is done we won't be able to enforce the recommendations. So what must we put in our recommendations to make sure that the implementation rate is not as low as what we see with PSC".
Prof responded by highlighting the Leadership changes and instability, National Commissioners since way back not finishing their terms, people acting, people making excuses that they are new, they can't act on anything. INSTABILITY!

Here's how debunked claims of White g*n*cide in South Africa went global.
Political commentator Dan Corder argues Afrikaner activists like Ernst Roets cleverly pushed white victimhood ideas, which were then exaggerated by “lunatics” on social media. Washington then amplified them to distract from domestic controversies and turned SA into a "punching bag".
Trump famously ambushed Ramaphosa in the Oval Office, alleging SA land reforms were r*cist and offered white farmers asylum. Other SA officials targeted included ex-ambassador Ebrahim Rasool, who was expelled from the US after claiming Trump used white victimhood as a “dog whistle".

The truth shall come out.
Even the blind can see that at tertiary institutions south africans are sidelined and replaced by foreigners. This has been happening for the longest time.

"White genocide" was debunked on the world stage, so they rebranded it as "farm murders" to push the exact same fear mongering agenda. Notice how silent they are when black farm workers are abused or murdered by white farmers?
Selective justice isn't justice, it’s project fear. Don't let xenophobic ringleaders convince you that a group dedicated to protecting minority privilege is a model for black empowerment or national development.
Vuka Darkie!
I fully agree with this young Coloured man pushing back against the misrepresentation of Coloured people by Fediel Adams.
As a country we shouldn't accept individuals claiming to speak for an entire community while using that community as a shield for disrespecting the rule of law.
Some of us have Coloured family, friends and loved ones, therefore we will not sit quietly while an entire community is misrepresented by an individual.

Former Deputy Minister of Police Bongani Mkongi boldly spoke out about the issue of foreigners in South Africa and was later removed from office. He eventually resigned from the ANC, saying the party no longer aligned with his political beliefs.
BREAKING NEWS | A multi-million rand Nigerian cellphone phishing syndicate - operating out of a well-known Durban beachfront hotel - has been cracked by KZN police teams.
Three men from that country have just been arrested, along with two local women.
Members of SAPS KZN Crime Intelligence dealing with commercial, financial and cybercrimes, SAPS KZN Commercial Crime Investigations, Durban Central SAPS and Durban Metro Police Tactical Support Unit worked closely to trace the suspects.
The alleged scammers were operating out of three hotel rooms, booked in the first week of April.
A number of cellphones and laptops - used in the commission of the crimes - have been seized.
The five suspects will be charged with fraud, theft and the contravention of the Cybercrimes Act.
They are expected in court next week.

South Africa remains stagnant and failing because it traded the engineer for the lawyer
Substituted the factory manager for the chartered accountant
Swapped the materials scientist for the banker
Glorified the finance manager over the artisan
Prematurely gave up the bullet for the ballot
Rewarded the office park over the industrial park
Magnified the tender consultant over the town planner
Elevated the compliance officer over the soil scientist
Worshipped glorified credentials over capability
Idolised the procurement officer over the inventor
Traded the civil engineer for the civil servant
Traded the mine surveyor for the mining indaba
Chose the consultant over the craftsman
The common thread in South Africa is the rise of the intermediary.
In a healthy industrial economy, value is created at the source, which is the factory, the farm and the mine.
In an economy like SA’s that has swapped the artisan for the accountant, the primary mechanism of wealth generation becomes the cut taken by the middle man who does not necessarily add value to the physical product, only extracting value from the transaction.
You cannot and will not develop a nation by attempting to skip the industrialisation phase and jumping head-first into a service-based global economy.
When the primary route to wealth runs through state tenders, compliance, licensing and procurement, you get rent-seeking rather than value creation where incentives point away from building things and toward positioning yourself between the builder and the buyer.
This is not about Fana Hlongwane or Ze Nxumalo, but yes, just like that.
When other stations were out of range, SA kept the Artemis II astronauts talking to Mission Control.
SA National Space Agency (SANSA) played a critical role in NASA’s Artemis II mission!
Our Hartebeesthoek Ground Station provided vital tracking and telemetry as the Orion spacecraft looped the Moon—keeping humanity’s first lunar crew in over 50 years connected to Earth.
Our specialized antennas and "hydrogen maser" atomic clocks, provided the extreme accuracy needed for Doppler measurements.
