Dear Colleagues,

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), through the International Solar Alliance (ISA), is pleased to inform you that applications are now open for the Green Hydrogen & Storage Startup Challenge 2026 (GHSSC 2026).

The Challenge, implemented under the ISA Green Hydrogen Innovation Centre (GHIC), seeks to identify and support innovative startups developing solutions in green hydrogen, its derivatives, and energy storage technologies aimed at accelerating decarbonisation, particularly in hard-to-abate sectors.

Successful startups will benefit from:

Expert mentorship and technical guidance;
Access to opportunities across ISA Member Countries;
Connections with investors, policymakers, and industry leaders;
Peer learning and international networking opportunities; and
Support towards piloting, scaling, and commercial deployment of their innovations.
Areas of Interest

Applications are encouraged from startups working in areas including:

Green hydrogen production technologies and electrolyser innovations;
Hydrogen storage and transportation solutions;
Advanced energy storage systems and battery technologies;
Renewable energy integration with green hydrogen systems;
Industrial and transport applications of green hydrogen;
Digital technologies, monitoring, safety, optimisation, and financing solutions across the hydrogen value chain.
