The people who are calling for Edwin Sifuna to resign because of his association or declarations with another party, need to understand that there is NO provision under Article 103 or S. 14 of the PPA that prohibits a member of a party from associating with another party even with the intention and direct declaration of vying with their ticket in the next general election.

Sifuna will exercise his right under Article 38 to stay in ODM, until the right time comes next year, for him to formally resign !
