Tohfa!! You northerners should realize that Rarara is your Muslim brother, while Davido is a Christian,” says former Kannywood actress Fati Muhammad.
However, many northerners do not seem to agree with her.

STATEMENT OF VICTORY
I write to you today with a heart overflowing with gratitude, humility, and a profound sense of responsibility, as I was formally announce victorious in the NANS Diaspora concluded election. This achievement carries a significance that goes beyond personal triumph I have made history as the first Hausa man from Northern Nigeria to emerge victorious in this position throughout the decade-long existence of our great Association. This is not merely a personal milestone; it is a moment of pride for our region, our people, and everyone who has ever believed that representation and opportunity should know no boundaries.
First and foremost, I give all glory, honour, and appreciation to God Almighty, Allah (SWT), the Most Gracious and Most Merciful, for granting us this victory. Without His divine guidance and favour, none of this would have been possible. To Him alone belongs all praise.
My special and heartfelt appreciation goes to the Global President of Nigerian Students in Diaspora, Dr. Chris Juwon fayome (PhD), whose visionary leadership and dedication to the welfare of Nigerian students abroad continue to inspire many of us. I equally extend my deepest gratitude to our global stakeholders across Europe, Australia, Africa, America, and Asia, whose unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in our shared vision carried us through every stage of this journey. Your contributions, both seen and unseen, have been the bedrock upon which this victory stands.
I commend, in the strongest terms, the Electoral Committee for their tireless commitment to ensuring that this election was conducted in a manner that was free, fair, transparent, and credible. Their integrity throughout the process has set a commendable standard for democratic practice within our Association.
I also wish to express my profound gratitude to our chapter presidents around the world, who, despite their busy schedules and personal commitments, rallied behind our movement, mobilized support, and worked tirelessly to give us this mandate. Your trust in our vision did not go unnoticed, and I promise to repay it with dedicated service.
My profound appreciation also goes to Assistant Professor Opeoluwaseun Omoileri the Liaison officer Office of Senior Special Adviser to the President of Nigeria Nigeria, Barrister Smart, the the President of Nigeria Labor Congress in South Africa and @CitizenPeper from the United Kingdom, @HarunaIbrahim14 , whose support and steadfast commitment to my success have been nothing short of extraordinary. Their constant encouragement, wise counsel, and unflinching belief in my capacity have remained invaluable pillars throughout this journey. I am sincerely grateful for everything they have done, both visibly and quietly, to ensure that this moment became a reality.
To everyone who supported and believed in this vision whether through words of encouragement, prayers, votes, or quiet acts of solidarity, I say a heartfelt thank you. Without your contributions, your trust, and your unwavering support, this achievement would have remained nothing more than a dream. Each of you has played a part in writing this new chapter of our history, and I will forever carry that with gratitude.
May posterity be kind to every one of us who has contributed, in one way or another, to making this moment a reality.
At this defining juncture, I am reminded that history is shaped not by individuals alone, but by collective will, unity of purpose, and unwavering conviction. When people come together with sincerity and dedication, they do not merely make history but they redefine the future. This victory, therefore, is not mine alone; it belongs to every Nigerian student in the diaspora who dreams of a stronger, more representative, and more impactful Association.
Signed
Engr. Nuhu Aminu Nuhu

The University of Jos should remain where it is.
There is no credible record of attacks on its staff or facilities by the host or neighboring communities.
If we are being fair, several federal institutions like NVRI Vom, NIPS Kuru, and ITF are located within Christian dominated areas, which some may also perceive as unsafe for Muslim staff and students yet there has been no widespread call to relocate them.
We must avoid double standards and instead promote coexistence, mutual trust, and national unity.
I speak as a typical Naija Aboki.
The bloodshed in Plateau State must end. Silence cannot be our response to injustice. Every life matters, every citizen deserves protection.
Nigeria must stand for peace, dignity, & justice for all.
He is the master planner of everything
But he was the first person that realized their mission to eliminate Hausa from Plateau can never work.
When he was the Governor I can still remember his speech toward the end of his tenure where he said “from today crisis have end in Plateau” when he came to sympathize with the Muslim community victims of Flooding.
And since that day there was no any crisis until he left the government House.
