Update III: Four days ago, I announced the facilitation of extra blocks of classrooms in three public schools in Kaduna North Federal Constituency. I am pleased to announce that the construction of the block of classrooms in Government Secondary School, (Asma’u Makarfi), in Unguwar Shanu/Abakpa Ward has commenced. We will be naming the block of classrooms after the late Mallam Salihijo Ahmed, a foremost consultant to Petroleum Development Fund(PTF), under the leadership of late President Muhammadu Buhari during the military government of the late General Sani Abacha.

Originally from Adamawa, he lived in Kaduna and under his direction and others including our mother, Dr. Amina Mohammed of the United Nations, the PTF directly improved the lives of the average Nigerian on an unprecedented scale. He sadly passed away in 1999 but we continue to celebrate this father figure and appreciate his legacies as one of the early bold reformers to emerge from our beloved state. May Almighty Allah bless his gentle soul.

His children, continue to shine and thrive. My elder brother, Ahmed (Modi) Salihijo, the former Executive Secretary of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), and a current aspirant for the House of Reps in Adamawa State. One of his daughters, a former schoolmate of mine in Kaduna, Lomè and Wales, Zainab Salihijo is one of the most successful entrepreneurs from the North. We are proud of all she does for young man and she is gem from Kaduna North in our eyes. Her Pink Fleur brand continues to inspire numerous young women interested in fashion and creativity. All his children thriving in their various interests.

I would like to thank my team of advisers supervising the project. I must always commend the contractor (whom I have never met) for moving swiftly. As we did with LEA Rafin Guza, Government Secondary School, Unguwar Rimi, we will end up beautifying the school by adding some art work and greenery in partnership with local artists and gardeners. Attached are some pictures of the ongoing work in this school. I urge the public, particularly the people of Unguwar Shanu/Abakpa Ward to also keep an eye and report to us if the need arises. PETITION AGAINST THE ALLEGED POLITICIZATION OF STATE INSTITUTIONS AND THE EROSION OF DEMOCRATIC VALUES IN NIGERIA

To Whom It May Concern,

We, concerned citizens of Nigeria, wish to express our deep concern over what many perceive as the growing use of state institutions to intimidate, harass, and silence political opponents.

The recent treatment of Mallam Nasir @elrufai has raised serious questions about the state of democracy, fairness, and political tolerance in our country. Many Nigerians cannot ignore the irony that a man who was among the most vocal and influential supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's presidential ambition now finds himself at the center of relentless political battles and legal troubles.

Whether one agrees with El-Rufai's politics or not, justice must never be selective. The law must never become a weapon reserved for critics, dissenters, or former allies who have fallen out of favor with those in power.

A democracy cannot survive when citizens begin to suspect that government agencies are being deployed to settle political scores. A judiciary cannot maintain public confidence if its decisions are perceived as serving political interests rather than the cause of justice.

The Nigerian people deserve institutions that are independent, fearless, and guided solely by the Constitution. They deserve courts that are respected because they are impartial, not because they are powerful. They deserve law enforcement agencies that pursue criminals with the same energy they pursue political figures.

History teaches us that governments often become most dangerous when they confuse criticism with opposition and opposition with criminality.

President Tinubu's administration should remember that power is temporary, but the precedents it sets may endure for generations. Every action that appears vindictive weakens public trust. Every perceived act of political persecution deepens division and cynicism among citizens.

We therefore call for transparency, due process, equal treatment under the law, and the protection of democratic freedoms for all Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation.

Nigeria belongs to all of us, not to any political party, government, or individual.

Justice must be blind.
The law must be impartial.
Democracy must be protected.

El Rufai has been in detention for over 100 days. In that period he lost his mother, was only allowed a few days to bury her and even spent Eid under detention amma not one elder in the North can find their voice to speak up? The same people who can rush to the Villa when contracts are involved, who can arrange meetings when money or political interests are at stake suddenly cannot come together to tell the President the obvious, that some things should not be allowed to get this far.

What exactly happened to Northern leadership? What happened to courage? I just just hope we do not wake up one day regretting this collective silence because by then it may be too late.

Look at the courtroom today. Do not just see a man in a dock. See a factory. A factory that manufactures political exclusion. This is not just a trial. This is a rehearsal. The state is showing us exactly how to eliminate a rival. And the terrifying part? They are doing it in broad daylight.

We make a fatal mistake. We look at the case of Malam Nasir @elrufai and think it is an isolated event. We think it is about one man. One set of allegations. One political feud. This is a dangerous illusion. It is not about him. It is about the template. It is about the blueprint. The state is drawing a map. It is showing every future leader exactly how the trap is built.

Study the steps. First; the invitation. It comes with a smile. Then comes the unnecessary detention. The media is tipped off. The headlines are written before the charges are filed. The narrative is set. Next comes the impossible bail. The conditions are designed to be unmeetable. Then come the endless adjournments. The file is missing. The witness is sick. The judge is going on annual leave and he's busy. The clock ticks. The spirit breaks. This is not justice. This is an assembly line. And the product is a neutralized opponent.

Who do you think is next? Do not be naive. The blueprint does not care about your party. It does not care about your ethnicity. It does not care about your current loyalty. Today it is a former governor. Tomorrow it could be a sitting senator. It could be a vocal journalist. It could be a student leader who dares to ask where the money went. The cage is being built today. But it will be used to lock up the dissenters of tomorrow. If we allow this blueprint to be perfected; we are signing our own future warrants.

The philosopher John Stuart Mill warned about the tyranny of the majority. But in Nigeria; we face the tyranny of the machinery. When the state uses its infinite resources to crush a single citizen; the balance of power is destroyed. The courtroom is supposed to be a shield for the weak. Instead; it has become a sword for the powerful. A gavel that strikes down one man today will strike down the next generation tomorrow.

Consider the message this sends to the youth. A young person watches the news. They see a man with a record of service being treated like a common criminal. They see the law used as a tool of revenge. They do the math. They conclude that politics is a death trap. They conclude that speaking truth is a suicide mission. So they leave. They pack their bags. They take their talents abroad. This is how a nation bleeds its future. Not by war. But by the steady drip of institutional fear.

We must stop watching this as spectators. We must see the pattern. We must name the tactic. Today; when the gavel falls; do not just ask about the bail. Ask about the precedent. Ask what this means for the young man who wants to run for office in 2027. Ask what this means for the woman who wants to speak truth to power. The blueprint is being drawn in real time. We must tear it up.

The law must be a shield; not a snare. The court must be a sanctuary of truth; not a theater of attrition. If we allow the state to perfect the art of the political cage; we surrender our democracy. We surrender our future. We surrender our children to a system that punishes courage and rewards silence.

The hearing today is a test. Not of one man's endurance. But of our collective conscience. Will we accept the blueprint? Or will we reject the design? Will we let the cage be built? Or will we dismantle it brick by brick? The choice is ours. The time is now.

Experts told us that the FG was fixing all four government owned refineries at $2.1 billion, and assured us that when Dangote refinery becomes active petrol prices will crash. They even went on excursion to Port Harcourt refinery to take pictures and videos.

Today, Dangote is on the ONLY active refinery with 700 bpd. As for the government owned refineries, there is no money and there is no production. If you ask me where that $2.1 billion is, na who I go ask?

This was during his tenure as Governor of Kaduna State when his convoy ran into a siege laid by bandits on Abuja - Kaduna road.

Commuters were stranded and vehicles parked. Fear reigned supreme.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai did not order his convoy to blow the siren and speed pass. No. He stopped his convoy, alighted from his vehicle and alongside his security team went on foot towards the source of the danger, even as the stranded and fear stricken onlookers were shouting at him to ''come back Mallam"! "come back Mallam"! He continued.

This is not an AI generated video neither was the video shot by his media aides or 2k data boys.

This is the same @elrufai who some idiots say is a bandit sponsor.
This is the same El-Rufai who they say paid bandits as Governor and some clowns believe.
This is the same El-Rufai who they killed Southern Kaduna people and persecuted and killed Christians.
This is the same El-Rufai that some losers love to hate.

I have since come to verifiably realise and to conclude that the only people who hate Nasir El-Rufai are ethnic and/or religious bigots, betrayal, bush and urban bandits and their sponsors.
