Breed and genetics - those are the two things people buy in livestock. For those asking "Are they not just going to kill it?" No, they're not going to kill it. A cattle like this will serve as the grandparent stock. Its offspring will be the parent stock. They won't be sold or killed. The offspring of these ones are now the ones that will give birth to commercial stock that will be sold for consumption.
