@cotton_mckayla Agree. The school will promote within the university, but not in the world of higher education. Who knows, that type of information may motivate a student to apply.
Some things will never change.

@cotton_mckayla@otclawson@corbettlc112621 To be honest, I would prefer an app that is less than $500 in the purchase. I am just trying to understand why they are so high, NOT to have everything. Lol, something is off π
@cotton_mckayla@corbettlc112621@otclawson I love this! Students at Randolph College love using the school's hashtags to show what and how they are doing. Our study abroad students are FAMOUS for using them often, which is lovely π
@cotton_mckayla@corbettlc112621@otclawson Ok. So I used to always find "college life" vloggers annoying. Only because I did not understand how valuable they were to future college students. From time to time, you can catch me looking at these videos all day π€£
@otclawson When did gaining popularity on campus become so important?? π³ Popularity does not get you degrees, last time I checked lol or maybe it does? π€
@otclawson@cotton_mckayla This is interesting . . . however, I feel like it could backfire. Someone, who you don't want to know where you currently are, is now constantly following you . . scary
@otclawson I understand where they are coming from. I have worked for companies where they will fire you for something you said or did via social media. However, both accounts can still be accessible.
@corbettlc112621 As an admission counselor, I believe virtual tours will be around for a while. I have had students who were unable to visit campus due to the school's distance or schedule conflicts. While tech issues may occur, virtual tours are convenient, especially for our busier families.

@otclawson Now that is a tough one. I know in the military, we have certain personnel who set the SOP for social media content for Army, but in the civil world, I guess it would depend on the group (audience).
