When I was 15 (1965), my mom took me & 2 friends (all of us white) to Twins/Orioles night game in Balto. After game, about 11, we went to parking lot to find car & saw 2 fairly large B/Ms in lot, looking lost. I recognized one as Earl Battey (Twins C); other turned out to be Lenny Green (Twins OF).
As we got autographs, we learned they had missed team bus to hotel & were now having trouble getting cab to stop (downtown Balto, 1965, night, 2 healthy looking B/Ms). Mom offered ride & we all crammed into her 64 Skylark.
Day game next day, I took bus to stadium park alone (30 minute trip) & Battey/Green gave me autographed ball they promised. Before game, usher let me hang around stands by Twins dugout as Green showed me his 'pitching technique' w/Battey catching.
Pretty cool ...

@J_Michaels25 It's hard to say the Brewers "made it right" until the next time something like this comes around and you see what kind of seats they're given. Hopefully the Brewers learned something this time around though...

@J_Michaels25 That said, I'm not agreeing with Clark... My point is this could have been such a GREAT story had the Brewers handled it better. Instead they are in "fix it" mode when they didn't need to be had they just planned accordingly.
