Don’t know if Mason Miller was pitch-tipping or not. But it was suggested at today’s Stammen presser that it didn’t matter because he was throwing balls. That’s entirely false. Knowing a slider is coming is a huge factor in a batter laying off a pitch he would otherwise swing at.
If you think hitting the roof/cable didn't keep this ball from going another 5 feet you are a stupid, stupid person and should never talk about @MLB@Brewers fans out here trying to defend the indefensible
As a Padres fan, I wouldn’t be able to watch baseball anymore after this… this renders the entire idea of watching baseball POINTLESS… Playoffs… ICONIC go-ahead home run!!!
Gets taken away because the ball hit the ROOF and then was caught as an out????
This is supposed to be ‘Major League Baseball’… instead it became Clown Baseball Clown League… something like this can never, ever happen in professional sports…
And the Padres ended up losing the game by 1 run, instead of winning because of this Home Run.
Sickening. Absolutely sickening. Sickening. Disgusting.
@PascoDFS@DannyVietti It traveled significantly farther than 325 - after it hit the roof. LOOK AT THE FUCKING PLAY - what are the numbers on the fence, that is only a few feet away from where it landed?
For anyone acting like its impossible for 105/49 to leave heres 106.6 at 46 going 377 a million rows back
Stuff like backspin and the state of the ball matter
@BrokeBoyCap@KFCBarstool It fucking was caught on the warning track - after it hit the stupid ass - minor league rafters. It was still rising when it hit - you fucking fool.
