A lot of % this and % that in the article. When I saw the announcement it said a buyer would save $349 per month on purchase of $700k house. The shock to me was to see monthly payments on such purchase would be $4,250 per month. How does a young family afford that?

Good point. You can build all the houses you want, but if we can’t afford them we won’t buy them. Current prices on new condos is stopping us from moving from house to condo. But we are much better off than first time home buyers - I feel for them.
