@addesioloye@RandyGoat That’s a lot of pink and blue for a working class state. Seems MN has a Republican turnout problem, not an election cheating problem.
@dpowerclean@D3Direct This 👆🏻. And the majority of D2 and D1 kids would be well served to understand this. If you didn’t play varsity as an underclassman in high school, why do you think you should in college? Patience. D3 builds the will to work hard, relationships, and friendships for life.
@drawjosh@kejca He’s talking about investing decisions. If a decision to invest / not invest is too hard to figure out - it’s probably not worth the risk. Wait for an easier opportunity.
@neilfish@TFTC21 Costs may be higher at first, but competition and scale always drive efficiency over time. To say it’s impossible is to ignore how every domestic industry we take for granted today got built in the first place.
@neilfish@TFTC21 Saying your only option is to “set up a factory” is not a great take. You are assuming that because U.S. supply chains don’t exist today, they can’t develop. Tariffs are explicitly meant to change incentives — new suppliers and substitutions will emerge.
@neilfish@TFTC21 Consider becoming a producer, buyer or distributor of domestic goods. That is the point of the tariffs, to change the market for imported vs domestic. Adapt, or die. Because whatever it is you are importing-the market will find a way to provide it at a lower cost. Always does.
@TMACkicks1@joshmckown527 It doesn’t argue against it. It is the reason for the advantage of Private Schools in athletics AND academics. We live in a natural meritocracy whether you like it or not. See Darwin, Charles R.
