Medical interns are not slaves😔
Theses are frontline health workers, all of you who go to public hospitals first interface with a medical intern.
Imagine a person who’s working a 36 hour shift without rest and is not expected to be given a simple allowance😒
If we can get money for more cabinet ministers, why not medical interns😔
Another reminder that certain individuals at Ministry of Health Uganda continue to push policies that unfairly exploit medical interns while undermining the dignity of the profession.We remain grateful to Doctor Asiimwe for standing firmly with us!
#ReviseTheEntireHealthPolicy
I strongly condem the internship policy. it's a total betrayal to all medical professionals.
The policy is very unacceptable, unproper and very unbecoming !
It's unethical and it exhibits a lot of injustice to medical professionals.
This is a rebal decision
Another day to remind you all that a certain group of people at @MinofHealthUG are trying so hard to exploit the medical interns, Thank you Doctor Asiimwe for standing with us and protecting the profession

5% Dextrose for breakfast, lunch & super, then sleep on the coach for the night.
That's how the 36 hr shift is supposed to be covered by an intern with poor parents.
@MinofHealthUG be fair.
@TheUMAofficial will stand with @OfficialFUMSA to fight this draconian shambolic policy
