When I spend too much time online, I become convinced that humanity is cooked. Then I go outside and everything is fine.
And my feed is relatively positive compared to many others. It's no wonder there are so many doomers.
Welcome to Michigan. Here’s the typical schedule we deal with on an average day
6am Try not to freeze to death. Wear layers. Drink coffee
10am Becomes more tolerable, still chilly… but manageable
2pm Take all those layers off! It’s way too hot out for them now.
4pm Who invited the wind?
6pm Why is there a tornado over yonder?
8pm WOW! Awesome Sunset!
10pm Grab those layers again. It’s going to drop to 28 overnight. Expect snow showers tomorrow!
Somehow, we all love it and we're still living here... Pure Michigan.
It's cookout time! The weekend forecast is shown below on each of the patties on each grill. Valid May 29th through 31st, 2026.
Temperatures will be near 80°F for most on Friday, otherwise temperatures in the 70s throughout the weekend for everyone else, with isolated cold spots along Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Skies will also be mostly sunny each day. Coldest day of the weekend is Saturday, and even then it's still going to be gorgeous. Do be cautious, as some fire weather is possible in areas that have plenty of tree debris from this past winter.
Whatever plans you have, we hope this weather we've got cooked up for you is perfect. Follow us here at Michigan Storm Chasers for more summer-themed forecasts throughout the next few months!
