#FlashbackFriday to Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes In The Park Festival! 🍦🌞 From kite-making to henna workshops and all the live music in between, it was a day packed with fun and community spirit. We’re still reminiscing! Thanks to everyone who joined us and made it a day to remember💙
The past two weeks have been challenging in the UK, seeing our neighbourhoods, streets and digital spaces filled with so much racism, hate and violence.
But we’ve also witnessed a powerful wave of solidarity and love across London and the entire country. It's been inspiring to see how quickly counter-protesters have organised, standing strong with messages of unity and compassion.
As Migrants Rights Network stated “now is the time for solidarity between communities: from the grieving families in Southport, to Muslim communities scared for their safety and sanctity of places of worship, to the people seeking asylum living in inhumane accommodation.”
We stand with you all during this time. We’re holding you in our thoughts and hope you are connected to the support and services you need to stay safe (both physically and mentally).
So many organisations in our network have been responding by sharing resources, guidance and other offerings. Please do check them out here: @HJusticeLdn, @migrants_rights, @hopenothate@Praxis_Projects, #conversationoverborders and so many others.
Something that's helping us hold onto hope is celebrating our incredible, creative community. We continue to immerse ourselves in the healing power of connection and art, never losing sight of our "north star" & purpose.
For us, one way to do this has been organising and attending in-person events, though we appreciate this is not always feasible or safe to do.
Another way, has been tuning into brilliant radio shows & podcasts. We've been revisiting the inspiring conversations and music broadcasted during Refugee Week on stations around the world.

We urge everyone to stand together against this tide of intolerance and to support the most vulnerable. Let's continue to build a world rooted in compassion, understanding, and unity. 🌎
#BabylonMigrantsProject#saynotoracism
In light of the recent surge in hate crimes, far-right attacks, and riots across the UK, we stand in unwavering solidarity with those who are spending their days in fear due to being targeted for their religion, ethnicity, or place of origin.
At Babylon Migrants Project, we are deeply worried about the impact of this rising hatred. We remain committed to creating a community where everyone is free from fear and discrimination.
Happy August, everyone! 🌞 We had so much fun with you all last weekend at Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes In The Park Festival! 🍦🎶
From kite-making and henna workshops to live music and unlimited ice cream, it was a day filled with joy and community.
Some highlights included meeting the incredible Little Amal, giving her a big fat hug, and sharing the beautiful social mission space with our amazing charity partners.
It was an inspiring day of joy, art, and advocacy! Thanks to everyone who came and made the day so special!
