An amazing story from one of our Sister Bricklayer Apprentices from Local 15 in Kansas City, Missouri reaching out to a little girl here in Regina who was upset about having to wear glasses. ❤️❤️ https://t.co/IZ0V36etxW
Fourth generation Bricklayer Brother Blake of @BacLocal1Sk off to a great start in his apprenticeship with the oldest continuous international union in North America.
Anything built with Saskatchewan tax dollars should be built by Saskatchewan workers. Around 10 years ago Masonry Restoration on our Legislative Building was done by an Ontario Company, when there were local companies that were more than qualified. https://t.co/1EbUSTbHCc
@SaskCovidHunter Where did I say companies? I said Saskatchewan workers, The Saskatchewan Building Trades have many signatory contractors that use Saskatchewan workers. I only know the ones that are signed to our union.
It comes with great sadness that we announce the passing of 53 year member, Brother Wilhelm “Willie” Braun. Willie joined the union back in 1967.
Willie was a strong union member never missing a meeting up until the day he passed, he will be greatly missed by all. RIP Brother
