@MidwestGolfJake Oh itโs almost purely ceremonial. The undersecretary does all the work. Youโll not only get to play a lot of golf, youโll be able to comp most of your rounds as business expenses on the taxpayersโ dime. Well, quarter, cuz Iโm abolishing the nickel and dime too.
When I become president, first thing Iโm doing is splitting the difference on DST. Second thing Iโm doing is opening up deer hunting season year round and putting $50 bounty on each one. They are pests and a menace.
(Third act will be making Masters patron etiquette standard across all pro events).

I read the transcript from that meeting with the 60 minutes staff. I get Pelleyโs frustration but you have to be more professional about it. Thatโs a one-on-one conversation, not a โEveryoneโs thinking it so Iโm gonna say it and turn the whole team against himโ.
That said I hope he wasnโt fired for just that. I hope it was more about irreconcilable differences.
Maybe youโre finding hard to celebrate the 4th because our president is kind of a dickโฆ
But looking at whatโs happening in the UK?
We should all celebrate that 250 yrs ago our founding fathers told the King to kiss their ass & weโre keeping our guns.
@RetroGolfGame I would also quietly argue that golfers who only play if they can ride are the primary culprits of slow play. I realize this doesnโt necessarily apply to those with physical limitations but those who are able bodied but hate the idea of walking tend to lack ready-golf etiquette.
@Meghan_Ottolini I don't care about who won or lost the trade. I care that I remain unconvinced that Brown is a net positive for the team when factoring in Diggs' excellent team leadership and chemistry with Maye. Brown is VERY MUCH TBD on those fronts.
This is more common than you might think, especially in the post-COVID boom. So many courses are obsessed with maxing out the tee sheet, so they do things like charge spectators, pair up singles for no reason, charge no-shows, and get rid of walking rates. It sucks. I play less golf directly because of sh*t like this.
The great thing about freedom is you don't have to settle for an A, B, C, D, or E region forever. Work hard, earn the cash, and go wherever you damn well please as often as you can manage. Enjoy life.
This is exactly the kind of move a Super Bowl runner-up makes because (like so many teams before them) they have convinced themselves they are "just one player away" from winning it all. They aren't.
They are a decent team that is betting the future on a malcontent playmaker. The result will be the same as it always is for these teams: falling woefully short of artificially high expectations. Hello 8-9. Hope it was worth the wait.
The A.J. Brown era in Philly is officially over.
The #Eagles have traded Brown to the #Patriots in exchange for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder, sources tell The Insiders. The expected deal is now completed.
@tak6tak@fnf2017 I think the Eagles win more games and make it closer to the SB over the next 3 years than the Patriots. Brown is talented but you don't need that kind of drama in the locker room. You'll be fine without him and the Patriots will be *fine* with him.
