Unfortunately, another patient had Chicken Pox which is highly contagious and dangerous after the chemotherapy Billy has had, so he now wears isolation layers to enter the centre involving a gown , hat and face mask.
Billy is mainly resting in bed as the light hurts his eyes and he has to take lots of medicines. The pain in his mouth is severe and inhibits eating and makes talking difficult.
Billy remains positive but is feeling the accumulated side effects from the daily proton radiation. The doctors have now narrowed down the field of radiation to the centre of the tumour.
